Florian Brigl and his team around his enologist Marco Chisté have succeeded in an exemplary manner in completely turning the Kornell winery around and giving it a new direction. Along the way, the magnificent residence under the ruins of Greifenstein Castle was carefully restored with great taste and just as much attention to detail. The wines are all like the heraldic animal that sailed down from the castle ruins, the griffin, gripping and soaring at the same time. The focus is crystal clear: maximum flavor through great harmony and always with an eye on digestibility. The epochal 2018 Merlot Kressfeld opens up a new dimension and demonstrates the legendary potential of Siebeneich.

Platinum, silver and bronze: At this year's "Decanter World Wine Awards", we were pleased to receive three medals. 97 points platinum went to our Cuvée Blanc Aichberg 2019. The Sauvignon Blanc Oberberg 2020 received 91 points silver and the Merlot Riserva Vigna Kressfeld 2017 got the bronze medal with 88 points.

The renowned Robert Parker has awarded five of our wines. Three times 93 points went to the Sauvignon Blanc Oberberg 2020, the Cabernet Riserva Staffes 2018 and the Merlot Riserva Vigna Kressfeld 2017. The Sauvignon Blanc Cosmas 2021 convinced with 91 points and our Lagrein Greif 2021 received 89 points.

Two times QUATTRO VITI: the Oberberg 2019 and the Merlot Riserva Vigna Kressfeld 2017 belong to the top of Italy according the sommelier association AIS - Associazione Italiana Sommeliers. On Tuesday, 7th December 2021 the wines were awarded and the new VITAE guide 2022 was presented. We are very happy about it.

We are very proud to be referred to as an international top and that by Gault Millau in the first South Tyrolean indulgence guide.

Gentleman magazine in the April 2021 edition published the top 50 Italian white wines and we are there too with our Sauvignon Blanc Oberberg 2018. What a joy.

The ranking of Gentleman was obtained by unifying and adding the votes of the 2021 guides of Gambero Rosso (Vini d'Italia, GR in the table), Veronelli (I vini di Veronelli), Italian Sommelier Association (Vitae), Italian Sommelier Foundation (Bibenda) , Daniele Cernilli (Essential Guide to Italian Wines) and Luca Maroni (Yearbook of the best Italian wines).

At the "Annuario dei Migliori Vini Italiani 2021" we were awarded by Luca Maroni with our Cabernet Sauvignon Riserva Staffes 2016 with 96 points as the third best red wine of Italy.

The Gambero Rosso wine guide “I Vini d’Italia 2021” was presented on October 18, 2020 in Rome. On this occasion, the 3 glasses were also awarded to the producers. We are very glad about the award of the 3 glasses for our Merlot Riserva Vigna Kressfeld 2016.

Daniele Cernilli from Doctor Wine awarded our Merlot Riserva Vigna Kressfeld 2016 with 95 points in the 2021 edition. We are honoured about this award.
